Ion Flux Quantisation (IFQ)

The ion flux quantisation (IFQ) assay is an automated software package for time lapse fluorescence quantification of intra cellular signal transduction processes.
The measurement is done in ‘cycles’. The user is first asked to select a number of image fields interactively. The cells are then detected on those images. During the next cycles, the stage is repeatedly moved over the image fields and the objects' fluorescence is continuously measured for a given time and a given interval.
The software is optimized to be used with the DCILabs’ Universal scanning kit but supports various microscopes stages and cameras.
