Vesicle Transport (VTA)

The aim of this assay is to quantify vesicle transport (e.g. along a neurite). A time lapse series of fluorescently labelled samples is made using confocal microscopy. The VES software analyses a region-of-interest of by segmenting each vesicle in each time frame. By measuring how each vesicle moves along the neurite, the amount and intensity of vesicle transport can be quantified.
