dciWeb: Web-based Image Analysis Service

> What is it?

dciWeb is a new web-based service from DCILABS for automated image analysis of your images. All you need to do is upload your images via our web tool to our service lab where they will be analyzed. When your images are analyzed, you will get an email notification. You can then download the results and overlay images from our server. Upon request, we even send you the results packaged with a viewer for easy data and image verification.

> Who should use this service?

Anyone who has a need to have images analyzed by highly efficient, powerful and robust image analysis algorithms. Both academic groups as well as enterprises can benefit from our service. The number of images is not limited but for extremely large image sets (1000+), you might want to license the analysis program so you can run the analysis yourself. > Why should I use this service?

Each algorithm is dedicated and optimized assuring the best possible object recognition and characterization for each assay. We have a broad platform of proprietary techniques including cognition technology, pattern recognition, adaptive filtering, etc. You can rely on a vast number of validated modules while new algorithm development with tailored solutions is also possible. After image upload, our staff will contact you to discuss the needs and/or specifications.

> What are the image requirements?

There are no specific image requirements. You can record images with the hardware and recording protocols that you are used to. For certain modules, extra information (like e.g. image resolution, z-stack notification, multi-channel recordings, time-lapse experiments) is required. You can fill in this information in a web-form while uploading.

> What are the hardware/software requirements?

dciWeb does not require any additional hardware or software installation. All you need is a PC with internet connection. Login to our website and surf to the dciWeb section. After login, you will have access to an easy drag-and-drop tool for file upload. Analysis results will be made available through a personalized portal.

> What assays (analysis modules) are available at dciWeb?

All the assays of the DCILABS portfolio are available at dciWeb.

Settings will be optimized by our highly trained personnel to ensure perfect analysis. For assays that require a manual outline of the ROI (region of interest), our user-friendly ROI tool can be obtained. This tool allows the creation of multiple ROIs, negative and positive ROIs, etc. Predefined ROIs are of course also analyzable.
